UAV Meteo is built and written by the UAV Meteo Team, combining hands-on drone flying with professional software development. Every guide, calculator and flight rating on this site comes from us.

Our experience

The team brings together 15 years of professional software development and 9 years of EASA-certified drone flying. The thresholds used on this site are the ones we check before our own flights.

How we write and check our guides

• Every guide answers one concrete question pilots ask before a flight.
• Facts come from primary sources: manufacturer specifications, EASA and FAA rules, NOAA SWPC and the weather models listed on our Data Sources page.
• Numbers and thresholds are checked against the live app, so an article never contradicts what the dashboard shows.
• Each guide shows when it was last updated, and we review guides when rules, drone specifications or our methodology change.

Corrections

Found something wrong or out of date? Tell us through the contact form or at info@uavmeteo.com and we'll fix it and update the article's date.
