Airspace & no-fly zones
Weather ≠ airspace clearance. Here's how to check both.
UAV Meteo is a weather tool — it tells you whether wind, visibility, precipitation and space weather are favorable for flying. It does not currently pull live no-fly zone, TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction), or controlled-airspace data. A safe pre-flight check requires both a good weather window and confirmation that you're legally allowed to fly in that airspace at that time.
Use one of the official tools below, appropriate to your region, before every flight:
United States

- FAA UAS Data Delivery System (map) — Authorization areas, facility maps and airspace grid data.
- LAANC providers — Request near-real-time airspace authorization in controlled airspace.
European Union
- EASA drone rules & U-space — EU-wide regulatory framework; check your national aviation authority for local geo-zones.
United Kingdom
- UK CAA — Registering to fly drones and model aircraft — Official UK CAA guidance on Flyer ID/Operator ID registration requirements.
Canada

Airspace on the map
Our map page can show a community-maintained (OpenAIP) airspace overlay alongside your location and wind direction, where configured. It's aviation-chart data built for manned-aircraft pilots (ICAO conventions, not simplified for drone flying), and a starting point rather than the authoritative source — always cross-check against the official tools above before flying, since aeronautical data changes and community-maintained sources can lag behind live restrictions (TFRs especially). The map page links out to OpenAIP's own full interactive map for the real legend and zone-by-zone detail.
